- RIT Online Print & Publishing Course
RIT Corporate Education and Training offers a series of introductory-level online programs that you can complete at your own computer, at your own pace, whenever it's convenient for you.
The interactive programs are delivered online with any Web browser and does not require broadband delivery. Taken separately or as a series, the programs give individuals and organizations a comprehensive foundation in printing and imaging concepts.
The initial series consists of seven self-paced programs, each requiring between 8 and 32 hours to complete, depending the participant's knowledge and informational needs. Participants access the programs via a secure Internet portal. The instruction adapts to each individual's learning pace and objectives.
The programs are highly interactive, yet can be easily accessed by anyone with a 28.8K modem and standard phone line.
Courses include Introduction to Document Imaging Workflows, Becoming a Print Professional, Introduction to Getting It on the Web, Practical Color Management, Introduction to Digital Asset Management, Profitable Digital Solutions and Introduction to Variable Data Imaging.
Cost ranges from $200 to $600 per course. When students register, they receive an allotment of online hours to finish a course. A free demonstration course is available at www.training.rit.edu/online.html. CET will exclusively distribute the training courses
