Compression Saves Time
How long will it take to transfer a file? Well, frankly we don't know! It all depends on the size and type of file, your connection speed and how much the file can be compressed. Since each file may compress differently, this transfer speed calculation tool may help give you an idea of the time savings you can expect. Simply put in the size of the file BEFORE compression, enter a compression amount and click compute.

Order/File Transfer
Estimate your file transfer speeds by inputting a file size and compression ratio. Remember, MyOrderDesk compresses all files before transport so your customer files will travel faster. Compare how long it takes to send a file with no compression (0%) (typical for e-mail attachments or other web page uploads) to the speed of a file compressed at, say, 50% or 90%. These numbers assume that you are transferring at or near the "best" possible conditions for a given connection.
